OREGON EMPLOYMENT LAW UPDATE

Session description: The Oregon Legislature has had a busy year. With several new positions of law now in place or coming online soon, it’s time to make sure you know how these changes may impact your business.
Objectives: Participants will come away with an awareness of the main features of significant legislative changes to employment laws implemented in 2018 and impact these changes may have on employee management and the businesses’ bottom line. Participants will become acquainted with resources available to businesses for constructively engaging these changes.
Content: This session will pay a particular emphasis on Pay Equity, but it will also provide an overview to other Oregon law including EITC notification, Oregon$aves, janitorial labor contractors, manufacturing overtime, and predictive scheduling.
